The Tekstuuri down coat is made of recycled polyester and it has a relaxed, straight fit and the topstitched Taifuuni pattern. The coat has a recycled down filling, a high collar, and a front metal zipper with an embroidered Marimekko logo puller. The front welt pockets have concealed snap button closures and the hem can be tightened with a drawstring.

Designed by Maija Isola, Taifuuni (typhoon) belonged originally to a series of patterns based on photographs depicting parts of the human body. The starting point for the Taifuuni pattern was the curve of the shoulder.
