Artist Statement: Skulls. Everyone has at least one. These skulls are getting on in years. Perhaps they have seen many, many Autumns in death. Perhaps these fruits were an offering from a generous gardener to these skulls.

Artist Bio: Angela Sandberg lives, paints and draws in a home with three tabby cats and an unruly garden. She has never found any skulls in her home garden. But if she did, maybe she would leave them oranges, star anise, lantern fruit and cranberries.
